Beauty and wellness products are, for the most part, rather expensive. Sure, there are some standout drugstore products and some occasional Amazon finds. But, if you are serious about stocking your bathroom cabinets with the creme de la creme of beauty and wellness merchandise, then you know that even the smallest beauty packages can ring up to some rather large monetary values.
While not everything that works well needs to cost your entire paycheck (case in point: coconut oil), there is something to be said for a product that does what it is supposed to do to a whole new level of amazingness.
There is a reason that some of the most beloved products in the beauty and wellness world come with a price tag, they are just that good! And they are made from and with the best of the best. These are products and tools that will always overdeliver, no matter how much they promise you. They make you feel great and look even better, and we repeatedly buy them for the added-value they bring to our lives.
Here are the seven most sensible beauty and wellness splurges that professional editorial makeup artists will approve of.
1. SK-II Facial Treatment Essence ($63.00)
If you have ever seen a woman and thought, “Wow, she looks 20 years younger,” then she has probably been using the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. Looking 20 years younger is a common side effect of this very popular and very luxurious Korean beauty product.

Ladies, is there really anything more exciting than a product that takes you back two decades?
Facials and other special services at a beauty salon can easily cost hundreds of dollars per session. With this product, you can basically pamper yourself anytime you want for a fraction of the cost of a visit to a beauty salon.
2. Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer ($399.99)
Now, this is a practical device. Not only does the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer provide the fastest blowout of any hair dryer on the market (aka a time saver!), it does so with the steadiest airflow and — thanks to digital technology — the lightest motor!
3. ZIIP Nano Current Device ($495)
Makeup is lovely, but having utterly clear skin is even better. The ZIIP Nano Current Device delivers a nano-current facial from the comfort of your own bathroom (possibly even bedroom—don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone!).
The price tag becomes a sensible splurge when you understand that it increases circulation, kills bacteria, and also promotes collagen and elastin production. It would be criminal not to have one!
4. GLO Brilliant Teeth Whitening Device ($220)
According to science, the first thing someone notices about you are your teeth. So, for this reason, it is essential to put your best foot (or in this case, tooth) forward.
The GLO Brilliant Teeth Whitening Device may be slightly more expensive than a pack of your drugstore whitening strips; but, unlike them, it doesn’t take many sessions to see results, and it is a lot harder to forget to use! Again, very sensible.
5. Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt ($53)
Shampoo that costs upwards of $50 might seem like the opposite of sensible; but, if you have a scalp that is prone to dryness, then this product will be nothing short of revolutionary.
The sea salt in it exfoliates, the sodium laureth sulfate cleanses, the sweet almond oil conditions, and the citrus scent just refreshes. Be warned: men have also been known to become addicted to its magic.
6. Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil ($105)
Once you have spent a couple of evenings with this night oil slathered onto your neck and face, you will come to understand the hype. After a long and busy workday, the Luna Sleeping Night Oil will be there for you, ready to soothe and moisturize you and your skin in a way that no other product (or dare I say it, partner) can.
7. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Face Sculpt & Highlight ($68)
One of the best makeup products of all time, this palette delivers the most incredible bronze and highlight. With the option of building the product up from either a subtle color to a sharp contour, this palette will leave you with chiseled cheekbones and a lit-from-within glow that will rival that of any supermodel’s.
There you have it! The beauty and wellness splurges that can only be deemed “sensible” to buy. Whether you put them on your holiday wish list or reward yourself for a career or life highlight (you deserve it!), just remember that one great product can often do far better work than a plethora of not-so-good products. Be sensible!
Wow, I guess I need all of them. Thank you for listing these products. As you are Indian, are these products are available on Amazon too. High time not to ignore my skin any longer.
The facial stuff sounds good to me! I love anything face mask so if I can get a good glow that would be awesome
Out of all of these, I could see me splurging on the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. I never dry my hair so the hair dryer wouldn’t be something I would even consider for myself. However, my teen grandkids do dry theirs so I might splurge on them with that.
